In Russian and Soviet folklore, Snegurochka is the granddaughter and essential helper of Ded Moroz (Grandfather Frost \/ Soviet Santa Claus). Traditionally, this molded plastic figure would be proudly displayed under the New Year tree alongside her grandfather. She is dressed in a classic winter coat in soft white and light blue hues, decorated with molded snowflakes and silver accents.
